ABOUT ME

In general, I would say, that I am a very curious person and think everyone has something interesting to share, not only in Switzerland but all over the world. I care a lot about the environment and try to act consciously with regards to the people that live around my but also to the nature. I like to do a lot of things at the same time (sometimes too many).
Bicycles are my favorite way of moving around besides trains.
I like good (vegetarian) food.
I am a big fan of colorful socks :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy a lot visiting new places in the world. However, I prefer much more discovering a country and see how people actually live than visiting touristic places and stay in an anonymous hostel.

So far I have not used couchsurfing enough. I could appreciate often to be spontaneously invited by people and could experience "couchsurfing" outside of couchsurfing.

Interests

In winter I like going skitouring in the mountains and with friends we go once a week swimming in the lake in Zurich (mainly in Winter ;) ).
In summer, I like going hiking and move around by bike.
If nature is not so close I like spending time with nice people and am a big fan of board games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a lot of experiences I could share at this points. I think in the end it would be a collection of great moments I was able to share with other people that I did not even now for a long time or which whom we had to communicate using hands and feeds because of not having a language we could talk together in but at the same time still understanding each other.
Most of these experiences I was able to collect while interrailing in Northern Europe, traveling alone in through Cambodia and Myanmar and living for a total of 6 months in Nepal.

I would love to tell you stories I experienced there when we meet each other :)
