About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Network with inspiring people and dance outdoors under the sun

ABOUT ME

I live and work in Melbourne but spend alot of time on the road or interstate traveling. I live in the leafy subub of eltham/montmorency about 25 mins drive from the city. I work with a bunch of artists ranging from sculptures to painters and photographers designing and building Installations for festivals. I am originally from Melbourne but grew up in sydney, canberra and adelaide. I have been back in melbourne for about 15 years now.
I love my art and the outdoors. I build large scale outdoor installations for festivals and events, you could say i use nature as my canvas. Im about to jet off to Europe and the States. i have stayed with alot of people over the years across many countries. I have hosted many people in past sharehouses/ warehouse prior to joining and then found out about couchsurfing .
Im happy to meet up with people to show them around Melbourne during the months of April/May 2015 before i leave again.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for today, i love to meet new people and spend all my time in the sun. Melbourne is not famous for its weather even in summer.
I make environmental art, this is my way of getting messages across. I love the earth we live on and spend my time thinking of new ways to tread lightly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sometimes work alot and sometimes will spend alot of time in the studio. If im here im more than happy to show some of the more interesting sites of melbourne. Im not far from the city so you get the best of both worlds.
I can take you out locally to great opp shops, cheap food etc and then you can either walk or ride into the city. Im not currently hosting but very happy to show you the sights of Melbourne.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed on peoples floors, couches in california, japan, and most of europe. Never a dull moment. The best holidays have been the ones staying with the locals , people I have just met through couch surfing or freinds.

Interests

I have a huge interest in anything outdoors. I try to go camping/hiking when i can i would do every weekend if i could. Life is short and traveling is my other passion. I like to meet the locals when traveling so I look forwars to meeting new people on my 2015 US/Europe trip. If im in Melbourne and I have the time im happy to take you hiking or dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to turkey for the 2006 solar eclipse. i was joined by alot of our freinds. We were also in south australia for the 2002 eclipse in the desert. This is a special moment you can only experience for yourself.
Time stands still, the earth goes silent as everything goes dark. You really do feel in tune with the universe when you experience something so special. We will all be in japan in 2009 for the next one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I look forward to meeting people and chatting about there lives. I have traveled to many countries and will keep traveling as long as the universe allows me.
