Hello! I'm Cansu from Türkiye. I turned 23 couple of weeks ago and I'm excited to fulfill my age with new experiences. I'm an engineer to be and because of my major I really like walking and exploring new areas. I went on my first trip abroad last month and I really enjoyed my time there. Even though the countries I went to were really close to my culture, I got to know many stuff about Romania and Bulgaria. As a person, I'm really warm and friendly. I easily make friends wherever I go. I stayed in some mixed hostels and from the experience I had from there, I could get along with anyone regardless of what language we speak or what race we have. I'm hoping to make more friends throughout the world by traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like exchanging cultures a lot. Every time I meet someone new, I get really excited and happy about what I'm gonna learn about them and their culture. I also like telling about my own rich culture and country. I think, that kind of approach fits the atmosphere of couchsurfing perfectly. I also have never lived with someone different from my family so I believe couchsurfing will also provide me that. As in economical sense, I do not come from an economically rich country and even finding cheap flights and tickets challenge me a lot. (I mostly give up on my trips bc of that reason) However, even though the obstacles I come across with, I do not want to waste my 20s in my home sitting. I hope I'll travel more and more.

I am in love with Turkish music and I believe I have a really big repertoire. I'd love to share all with you.
Since the beginning of this year, I've seen more than 50 movies and among all The Lobster, Fight Club, Close(2022), Fundamentals of caring and Fingernails are my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do not know if it is amazing for others but for me, going abroad for the first time and being alone was the most amazing thing I've done in my life. I didn't have internet, food, I had language barrier with the locals (I speak English fluently) and even though the things I came across with, I have found my way and got safe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Turkish dishes.
I can teach Turkish (I'm experienced.)
