ABOUT ME

I was born in Tampere, Finland and visit there often. I grew up mostly in Florida though (lived in New York and Kentucky too). I currently live in Blacksburg, Va where I'm a strategic planner with a digital agency called Modea.

I've been playing the violin for 15 years and picked up the electric bass 5 years ago. My main band that I played with was called Sweet City Action (www.myspace.com/sweetcityaction). I've played in several bands in Gainesville, FL and Austin, Tx.

Some people say I take too many pictures. That's not possible though. I like going through them and remembering all the adventures.

I couchsurfed with a person named Odile in Austin, Tx before renting a room in another house.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently watching two TV series: How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory.

I've recently been listening to Crystal Castles, Sleigh Bells, MGMT, The Knife, Postal Service, and Magnetic Fields. I've always loved listening to Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on tour with my band and played GoGirls Invade SXSW in March 2008. We lived off pbj sandwiches and had to scout for showers BUT we met so many awesome people along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn more about wine, coffee, and tea.

I can teach you Finnish, how to juggle, solve a Rubiks cube, claymation, play violin, and maybe how to play bass.
