About Me

ABOUT ME

Not really much to tell. I am pretty much a hermit trying to live amongst others who actually like company. I still dont understand why. I am really quiet, my partner is the rambunctious outgoing one. I tend to keep to myself.

PHILOSOPHY

Why settle for being difficult when with a little extra effort, you can be downright impossible? (just kidding )There's no point achieving your goals if you don't recognise the person in the mirror at the finish line.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have not used couch surfing before however I have hosted people through global freeloaders and I do have references on that site under cantmakeme if you would like to check

So why couch surfing...... Originally when I joined global freeloaders my daughter still lived at home and I wanted her exposed to different cultures, I have used couch surfing when I have been travelling and many people have helped me when I have needed last minute accom. I work shift work, 98% of them night shifts, so this really is just a place to stay when you are stuck. I dont have a lot of time between work and study to be the greatest host. So if you are independent and just need a bed this is perfect

Interests

Love to read and bake. Chances are at some stage someone staying with me has been a guinea pig to something I felt like baking... no-one has died yet, which probably lessens the good odds dramatically.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I will listen to everything but opera and country and/or western. I am pretty sure both of these are forms of torture
Books - I read every spare chance I get

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How do I even answer this....different things leave me awestruck, from a butterfly landing on my nose to my first view of a city I have never been before. Every time I see the beach where I live I am grateful. Every day is amazing if you open your eyes

Countries I’ve Visited

Indonesia, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
