About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living life the best I can.
ABOUT ME
Born in Visalia, CA in 1984. Lived in Yosemite for a time. Moved out to Arkansas when I was 9. Lived there till I was 22 where I got a degree in Physics. After my degree I moved to Reno where I still live as a Physics graduate student. I study fusion and plasma physics. My hobbies include running, contemplating life, and having meaningful conversations. I have gone through radical changes in my thought processes and beliefs. Living life is a humbling experience for sure. I describe myself as a "realist" and am on a mission to discover "truth".
PHILOSOPHY
Interesting question...my personal philosophy would simply have to be "keeping it real", even when it goes wrong.
I also describe myself as a "realist" now, which fits my above description. I don't have life figured out, and I don't claim I ever will, but I can't think of anything more important than trying to figure it out anyway. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am in a situation where I can host up to two couchsurfers. I'll include a picture of the bed I have soon. The thing is that the beds are located in the same room I sleep in (I have a master bedroom), so if you aren't shy, then more power to you.
I want to find ways to help and give back to humanity. This is one of the best ways I have thought of. :)
Also, I am a hardcore runner, so if any runner wanted to meet up with me for a run, that would be fantastic.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was in Salt Lake City with a friend of mine who was on couchsurfing. I was hesitant at first, but it became one of the best experiences of my life. I took a two year hiatus unfortunately, but found myself going back while planning on a France and Ireland trip. I was hosted by two amazing gentleman and was convinced I had to start hosting myself. I have hosted once now and am now intensely dedicated to this idea.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can coach running, teach math, physics, dot drawings (ask if you are interested), and some interesting ties between science and religion.
Learn? I want to know about different cultures. I want to understand our differences, but more importantly, our similarities.
