Hi there! My names Canyon, I'm an artist from Keokuk, IA. Not really sure what to say about myself honestly. I'm just a simple dude who loves photography and just kicking back at the end of the day making projects. I've done Photography for about 8 years and I'm at a point where I need some adventure with it. I wanna shoot more than what life throws at me, I wanna go out and find what I want. But other than all that I love meeting new people and getting to know them. I'm a firm believer it's all about who you know in the world so the more the better!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I hope to start Couchsurfing some time this year. I want to go across the states with my camera and shoot new places, shoot with new people, and just over all find new insight in life. I need adventure, I need to know what else is out there. If I'm being honest my job other than photography kills me mentally, this town has nothing for me, and nothing like a little heartbreak as well to make you wanna go out on the road! Haha

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach someone how to handle a camera and work in Adobe as well. If possible I would love to learn some sort of instrument like drums, that or learn wood working or glass blowing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If or whenever I do start this adventure I can offer a few things for people I stay with. A photo shoot of their choosing, I'll be taking photos the whole time anyway! I'm also a pretty damn good cook as well as a good helper around the house. So if you need help with anything I have no problem with that!
