ABOUT ME

I have been lucky to have been exposed to all different kinds of talented people from all over the world in high school at this place called Interlochen in Michigan. I went to drama school in London and then began working in cabaret and burlesque. My Russian acting teacher once told me, "Caroline, stop giggling! You'll never find a serious husband!" - This turned out to be true! In January 2014 I married my husband Liam who does stand up comedy.

I am independent and I I love learning new things from new people.

More often than not, people will regret NOT doing things rather than regret giving it a try.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had Couchsurfers to my old London flat, which was great (it's much harder now in a one bedroom) and did a 2 month trip around Europe with my ex-boyfriend and stayed with some of the most amazing people I've ever met.

Interests

Theatre, art, music, dance, snowboarding, anything new and different, water: oceans, rivers, lakes, bath tubs, good food, good wine, good friends, and good conversations. History, literature... although I admit, I'm not as well versed as I'd like to be. I like sharing with people about the things I love, sharing strange philosophies, ideas, and possibilities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films and there are always more i need to see! Anything from classic oldies like It Happened One Night, to new crappy comedies.

Music - Old Jazz and big band, Die Antwoord, Beyonce, 60s soul, 70s rock, 2000 alternative, Dolly Parton - I got it all covered.

I'm a non-fiction person a lot of the time and love biographies - Amy Poehler, Tina Fay, and Mindy Kaling are all currently on rotation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Los Vegas in 2013 and performed for 2 months in South Africa!

Teach, Learn, Share

Come to London, we will try to find you a theatre experience you won't forget... hopefully. Maybe take you into the depths of East London, who knows. But with me, there's always a 75% chance of meeting an interesting character of some sort. I haven't travelled much at all and I am so interested in other cultures, so I am willing and open to learn everything and anything I can possibly cram into my brain/experience. If you're in London, I will point you to the best cabaret/burlesque shows we have to offer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am travelling now mainly for work, so if you want to come to a show I can definitely get you a ticket or two! I'm always up for fun activities, but I am also happy to do my own thing if you just don't have time to play tour guide. I get it. I will have lots of youtube videos to show you and will happily bring some London treats with me to share. And wine.
