Overview
About Me
I am from a small village in the South East of Ireland. I am currently in my third year of my udergrad in Primary Teaching. I started my undergrad in 2014 . However I took two years out of college between first year and second year to travel and work. I visited Amsterdam, Prague, Olomouc, Edinburgh, Paris, Lille, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Dali, Lijang, Guiyang, Kunming and Chongqing during this time. My biggest adventure was the time I spent in China. I absolutely loved it!
I am currently on Erasmus in France where I will be until mid-December. I am really enjoying it.
I come from a big family who I am close with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel like I am expected to talk about skydiving or swimming with dolphins or bungee jumping! However one thing that I've done that was an amazing experience was running a summer camp for children in a direct provision centre (asylum seekers and refugees) near where I live. The centre is in quite an isolated area. Every day was so crazy and filled with smiles and fun. Our aim was to create some memories and share some cultural experiences using an educational lens. By the end of every day I was exhausted but it was so worth it to see the children enjoying themselves and having fun while learning at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about different cultures, traditions and languages.
Meanwhile I can teach 'na cúpla focail' (a couple of words) In Irish with anyone who is curious about the language. I also would be more than happy to share a few steps of Irish dancing. I am no expert by any means! But I did learn it as a child. Also I can share traditional Irish cuisine. I have perfected my cottage pie making skills!
