So far so good! I've met some really interesting and open people, and am looking forward to meeting more!

Interests

When I'm not working or traveling, I like to learn new languages, play tennis, kickbox, do karate, paint/draw, write and read. I have recently started taking photography classes and hope to make that into more than a hobby someday.

I'm very interested in international human rights and have started a Chicago chapter of Invisible Children, an organization that help children in Africa gain access to education and life necessities. Someday, I hope to work with the UN or the International Criminal Court to help stop genocide and aid refugees.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Perhaps not the most amazing thing done/seen, but certainly the most interesting thing experienced...

When I was in Armenia, one of the village men offered my grandma thirty goats in exchange for my hand in marriage.

She told him she'd only settle for fourty. He wasn't willing to go that high and the deal was off.
