Classics and Philosophy student at the University of Ottawa. I have lived in Canada for most of my life but have been lucky enough to see quite a bit of the world thanks to friends and family. I think everyone deserves that chance and couch surfing seems like an amazing way to make that possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw Sergei Nakariakov perform at the Royal Academy in Budapest and it left me with tears in my eyes. Moments like that make you want to worship humanity. But in the same breath, cowering through the most torrential thunderstorm I've ever experienced in Ontario's Quetico Provincial Park with a flimsy one-season tent as my only refuge, and the exquisite sunset that gave way once the clouds had passed reminds me that however much I might respect human endeavour, we are only slaves to nature's whim.
