ABOUT ME

OK. I am doing this as a 'Pay it Forward' kinda thing, and to those that would need a couch in Singapore, I am offering a room in my apartment, which is right smack in the center of Singapore (very close to Orchard Road). You can grab all the food you want in the fridge, swim in the pool, or use the gym.

I only want one thing, is that you promise to offer your couch where you live, to someone else at least once, on my behalf.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was stuck in a train station one night in Bratislava, out of the local currency, hungry and not sure when is the next train to Vienna.

The station was reeking, and an American guy about my age walked up to me and offered to help, seeing I looked lost. He told me his life story, how he moved to Slovakia because of a girl he met back home. He explained the whole train situation, and even bought me a sandwich seeing I was hungry. He waited with me on the tracks because it was unsafe for me to be in the station, which was full of druggies and gypsies. He told me about couchsurfing.

I lost his email, and never managed to say thank you.
