to make the world a more equitable place tomorrow than it is today.
mostly i do this through agriculture -- i manage a small farm / youth social services nonprofit outside of portland, oregon. we employ young people with barriers to thriving in traditional systems and grow a whole lot of food for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have hosted while living in three countries and surfed in twenty eight -- i have met people and had experiences that i still recall often and fondly -- camping trips in norway, road trips in uruguay, pre-dawn cycling in austria, revolution in egypt. without couchsurfing, traveling alone could be a lonely thing.
