About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Abandon ALL the shackles!

ABOUT ME

I know more about me than I could ever know about anybody else, and yet I have no decent way of putting myself into words. I'm a seeker, and a hopeful stoic.

PHILOSOPHY

This too, shall pass.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a few couches, both through the site and not, and I try to give as much as I can while on the road to other travelers.

I don't currently have a couch to offer, but I'd love to wander around with you or buy you a coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly great! I've met some great people through the site. I've had some wonderful experiences, and it sucks having to turn some others down.

Interests

Getting to know people, exploring new places. I like music, and books, knowledge, and tend to get riled up over human rights and the state of the planet's rapid destruction. Vans, stickers, live music, playing pool. The usual stuff, you know? Everything, really.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm reading "Appalachian Ninja" by Spencer 2 Dogs, and there are a couple more in queue after. I mostly like travel authors, histories, or fantasy.

I love live music, but lean towards rock and it's many forms.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the ruins of an abby in Ireland. Took a rescued kitten on a 2 month road trip. Hitchhiked from Chicago to L.A. to Seattle. And then again from Portland, OR, to Springfield, MO. Ate a peanut butter and jelly sammich on top of a glacier in Seward, Alaska. Almost got pulled out to sea by the under currents at Taboga Island, Panama. Woke up to Buffalo surrounding my camp in Yellowstone. Been born.

Teach, Learn, Share

I wish I had more to teach, but I'm mostly a theorizer and arm-chair philosopher. I deal in discussion and devils advocacy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs, hopefully.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Ireland, Panama
