Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from different cultures and countries. Experience their way of life! I want to take part in meetups and parties from around the globe.

I feel comfortable rocking up in any city, confident in the fact that I’ll be able to make new friends.

Interests

I love reading, going to the cinema and going out with friends!

I love cooking and baking. It's therapeuic for me I suppose as I do it when I'm bored or when I'm stressed, but it's also something I like to do with other people. There's nothing nicer than cooking a good meal and enjoying it with friends and a glass of wine.
One of my favourite things whilst travelling is tasting a country's traditional food. I think it's a great way of experiencing a foreign culture and discovering new recipes to cook once you're back home and want to travel for dinnertime.

Horse riding is my passion and although I'm not that sporty I very much like water sports like rafting, kayaking or jet skiing but I would love to try something extreme someday like skydiving! All I need is the courage...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I just love music and I don't have a specific type, from Schubert to Adele, I have no favourites! Basically, if there's a song I hear and I like it, well I'll download it. I'm honestly not the type of person who'll lecture someone on the type of music they should listen to. Same goes for movies and books. I read and watch a bit of this and that. I do like Christopher Nolan movies though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thanks to my very particular set of skills acquired through a very long career as a CIA agent, I was able to save my daughter from an Albanian gang of human traffickers who had kidnapped her. Oh, no wait... That was Liam Neeson.... Held a lion cub in my arms and got an autograph from Jaqen H'ghar. Those were cool moments but "extraordinary" is yet to come ;)
