Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though I'm brand new on CS, I have been to many events and have met many friends who are active members. I love the philosophy of it, I love to travel and meet new people: seems to me that CS and I are going to be great pals.

Interests

It'd be a lie to claim that I like EVERYTHING (that's also part of my job to be critic!), but it is absolutely true that I do like to TRY everything. I believe that all experiences are good experiences, even being eaten alive by leeches in Vietnam (that was fun...)

I like going out and meeting new people, but I equally like staying in with a friend and watch a movie after a good dinner. Easy

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a movie buff and my worst fear is not being able to watch all the films in the world. I guess some of my favourite directors are the Coen brothers, Kubrick, Tarantino, Park Chan-wook, Kore-eda... I also have a soft spot for SF.

I love reading but since I'd like to work in comics some day, that's what I'm reading the most these days. Every genre including manga (Blame, Berserk, Oyasumi Pun Pun...), American comics (Sandman, Constantine) and French-Belgian bande dessinée (Larcenet, Boulet, Schuiten et Peeters)

As for music, you'd equally see me at a jazz café, classical concert or EDM club. I'm interested in almost anything as long as it isn't too much mainstream (snob, I know)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach French and can also try to cook for you though I mostly know how to make cakes like tiramisu or lemon tart. I'm not so good at cooking salty stuff though I can try a couple things ^^
