About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Out-pouring my heart into each moment ...

ABOUT ME

We are unordinary yet simple people.

Christophe is a yoga instructor and Marion is a massage therapist (specializing in abdominal organ massage).

Partners in crime, we live in Chiang Mai (northern Thailand) throughout the 'cool' season and spend the rest of the year trotting the globe, working with wellness studios and private clients. A great way to learn, share and interact with the world!

Eventually, we hope to settle down in Montreal.

Despite our rather busy schedule we always make time for a yearly escape into the raw Canadian wilderness which dwells so closely to our spirit. Canoeing at dawn, roadtripping the desolate expanses of road and warming our toes around a campfire are some of our favourite Canadian pastimes.

We're both dedicated yogi's. And Christophe, as an instructor, loves sharing his passion for it. He believes that yoga is for everyone!

Marion (native to France) is a dynamic young woman and fantastic body worker with a healing touch. She works through the abdomen in order to detoxify and rejuvenate the internal organs. She works from her heart and the result is a very powerful massage technique.

We love life and with it, its variety of challenges and as it only makes us stronger.

Other top international activities include picknicking in parks, rolling in the grass and playing chess on a sunny afternoon.

We also enjoy the many gifts which the ocean has to offer.

Food. We love it - growing it, buying it, cooking and eating it. If you haven't tried the fruit durian (hailed as the king of fruits in South East Asia) come visit and we'd be glad to show you around!

PHILOSOPHY

Be grateful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To be honest with you, we haven't actively participated in CS since hosting someone in China several years ago.

However throughout our travels, although 'informally', we have been welcomed in people's homes (often stranger's) countless times. and every time, it's been a enriching experience for everyone.

Likewise, (although not yet through CS) we are always receiving arrays of international friends and family members in our home in Chiang Mai. And we'd love to have you too.

Ultimately, we believe in CS. We believe in networks. And we believe in humans.

Interests

All healing modalities and spiritual philosophies - the many branches of the tree of life.

A good book makes a great companion.

Sailing. I've never sailed, but it's definitely an interest.

Permaculture - a return to our roots. A knowledge necessity in this ever changing world.

Forest. Trees. Moss. Pure air. Spring water. The essence of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I make my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day, while descending the Mont Jacques Cartier we stumbled upon two male Moose in combat. The locking of antlers locked into into my entrails. It was a moment of raw, primal existence that I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

'Chew your food 51 times' says Marion.

'And open to Grace every morning!' adds Christophe.
