ABOUT ME

Hello, I am a 21 year old student at Humboldt State University in California. I spend my days going to school and volunteering in the community through the Youth Educational Services building on my campus. On the weekends choose: rock climbing, surfing, mtn. biking, backpacking, mountaineering, or anything else that gets me outside. I am real mellow and easy to get along with.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am going to try and host as many people as possible, but I am a busy student and don't have a lot of time to be as good of host as I would like to be. But people are more than welcome to have couch for a night or two and get some good insider tips for Arcata from a local. I would also like to CS when I go to Peru in Jan 2010 when I do my study abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only one official CS experience, but I have had many other informal ones with people I have met in town who just needed a place to crash.

Interests

I enjoy anything that gets me outside. Surfing, Mtn. Biking, rock climbing, mountaineering, backpacking, hiking and all of the like.

Touching the Void -Book

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a high school kid from a native reservation backpacking through an old growth redwood forest too the coast in Northern California. It was the first time he got to play on the beach, he was 15 years old. It was amazing.
