About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making my wife happy.
ABOUT ME
I'm retired but active. I still cross country ski, sail, canoe/kayak and travel in our camper-van. I do some volunteer work with our local community and church. Currently I classify myself as a handy-man.
Our current interests are the Lewis and Clark and Oregon Trails in the western U.S. We have traveled the Lewis and Clark Trail extensively.
PHILOSOPHY
I have learned listening to others is a rewarding experience. Every persons has a story and it's usually more interesting than you think.
I live my life now helping others, as others, in my past, have helped me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to the CS project and currently learning how it works.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Our CS experience is limited to relatives, however in our travels with our camper we have been invited to stay in back yards or drives. Yes, we do have some unique stories about our experiences traveling in the western U.S

Music, Movies, and Books
Believe it or not I'm a science fiction and action movie
guy. My wife is not, however she loved "Avatar"
I don't read books, I listen to them on disc when traveling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen the destructive power of one hurricane named "Katrina" and volunteered in the recovery.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a couple of grill recipes that are awesome. If time is available would love to share. Of course I'm always interested in new food experiences. And of course if your interested in gems, we can talk about them too.
