ABOUT ME

Not much to say really. Like meeting people, hiking, boating, cycling. Consider myself a bit of an artist and also play the guitar. Currently unemployed, ex-carer. Quite knowledgeable about London, getting around, places of interest, history. Vegetarian, probably the most unhealthy vegetarian in the whole of the UK.

I have hosted many people from around the world - Albania, Brazil, Czech Republic, England, France, Italy, Poland, Scotland, South Korea, Spain, New Zealand, United States.

Interests

Music (playing the guitar), cycling, skippering narrowboats, so far I hire but am thinking of buying my own either this year or next at the latest as i have some money coming to me later this year when my home is sold.

Ska, reggae, punk, 1970s rock, some folk and world music.
Films - mainly French - A Ma Seour, City of Lost Children, Amelie, Innocence. Other films include privates on Parade, Ginger Snaps Unleashed and anything with Johnny Depp in it.
TV shows - Dr Who.
Comedy - Bottom, Young Ones, Filty Rich and Catflap, Alan Partridge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Albania - all of it, most beautiful and spectacular place that I have been.
I presented a show on Japanese TV. Also my researches have been published in books. I recently appeared on British TV show on Channel 5.
