About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world before succumbing to the shackles of a career.
ABOUT ME
After 4 years in highschool, followed by 6 years of university, I decided that starting a career was at the bottom of my todo list. I spent a year living and working in Edinburgh, Scotland, while traveling around Europe. I've been traveling since June and have managed to surf a few couches. I'll eventually end up in Australia in November. I'm loving life at the moment and any chance I can couch surf, I jump at the opportunity. Anyone can travel, but without experiencing local culture, away from tourists, it's not the same experience. I've thoroughly enjoyed my CS experiences and hope to surf a little more, and eventually host surfers when I find someplace to stay for a while.
PHILOSOPHY
Be who you are, but embrace the fact that we're not all the same and respect those who are different. Life would be a boring, meaningless task if everyone was the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I will only surf, but once I return home and own a couch, it will be open to anyone and everyone who wishes to use it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've enjoyed Russian and Indian hospitality so far, and have had nothing but good experiences. From eating dried fish and beer in Moscow, to experiencing Ramadan with a family in Mumbai, just a few highlights of my couch surfing experiences.
Interests
I love the outdoors and any related activities, traveling and meeting new friends around the world and I'll try anything at least once. When I'm not traveling, I play a bit of piano and want to learn the guitar. I speak English, French and random words in a number of other languages :-)
