Overview
About Me
I am a 28 years old from Montreal, Quebec (Canada), 5 ft 4 and short-sighted, vegan and quite concerned about environmental issues, which means I can get very emotionnal about compost. I just completed my Ph. D. in chemistry and I am travelling with my friend Anne-Marie who just gratuated from medical school. Although I would sincerely consider dedicating my life to science, I want to share about what I love, which is a lot, because I love a lot of things - it feels to me sometimes that curiosity knows no bounds.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got to be hosted several times travelling around Quebec and it always has been an amazing experience. I don't know how to explain that, it just felt like the right way to travel.
Interests
I started to draw before I could even write, it has always been a very big thing in my life, and the way I tend to spontaneously express myself. I could eat fruits and drink coffee all day long. Because I am a chemist and I despite wasting food, I find pleasure in experimenting in the kitchen with what I can lay my hands on; I kinda specialized in veganising my favourite cakes. Although I like fashion, I don't go to shopping malls; I love to browse thrift shops and I know a bit about knitting and a bit more about sewing. I have been practicing yoga for several years, I am a rock climber and a runner, I like to go walking and swimming too. Finally, I absolutely like to party, going to cultural events and live music shows. I like the mornings for the quiet and the night for the fun!

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to hip-hop, electronica and experimental but I like jazz and rnb too (I have notably played the violin for 12 years). I love going to concerts. I read a lot of books from fiction to philosophy. I don't really listen to TV Shows, but I enjoy going to the cinema once in a while, though I struggle to keep myself behind a screen for more than 2 hours.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just completed a six years Ph. D... it was quite a ride!
Teach, Learn, Share
I try to share whatever I can with anyone who is broad-minded. I try to never judge anyone anytime, because, well, after all, you never really know what their journey is about.
