One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I belonged to a scout association. At the age of 20, I was responsible for a group of 24 children aged from 8 to 12 during one week.
We faced a lot of difficulties during the camp but one remains particularly in my memory : One time a girl cut her hand violently with a knife while cooking. It bleeded everywhere. The other children were totally afraid. I was scared too but I tried to keep calm and to calm down the children.
At first I did a bandage around her arm. Then I called the ermergency. They came luckily quickly.
I was proud of myself because I succeeded in keeping my calm in spite of the panic.

In my business school in France, I was member of a social business project. The goal was to help unemployed disadvantaged young people to get a job.
In order to achieve that, on one side we organized many workshops to learn them how to write a CV or a cover letter or how to succeed in one job interview.
On the other hand, we organized more fun workshops to give them self-confidence. For example, we did several play afternoons (theater etc...).
It was a great challenge but we got some encouraging results. And I really liked this experience because I was happy to use my knowledge to help people.
