Présentation
À propos de moi
For the most part I consider myself to be pretty fun and outgoing. Honestly just love to smile, laugh, and have a good time. Enjoy life. Embracing it and appreciating every moment. I can be a real homebody from time to time, but also love to go out and have those occasional wild NYC all nighters as well. Love to learn and share new experiences all around.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I love the sense of community and back the concept behind the whole idea. Living in one of the greatest cities, arguably, THE best city, and the biggest melting pot of many cultures, and all how could I not show it off, and what better way than this?! by meeting and talking, showing, hosting etc... Because the community tends to be a very open minded and culturally diverse. The people on here want to explore and see new things, like a local, and see how day to day or things that you wouldn't see or do or eat in media today. The community seems to be very inquisitive and interested in not just the local sites, but lifestyles as well and how they compare and contrast in real life.
Centres d'intérêt
Skydiving, food and wine, shopping, gymnastics, acoustic guitar, soccer, hospitality, service (restaurant related) and traveling.
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
As far as music I truly appreciate it all, for real, country, rap, hip hop, house, edm, pop, rock, you name it. If it's got a beat, Im there. Movies, same thing, ironically don't watch much tv so anything movie/Tv related I have no prior biased to but do love comedy, horror, and action films. As for books, I'm more of a real life, almost self improvement books. Life enrichment and encouraging, sometimes of perspective change. Paulo Cohleo, Road less traveled, and Art of Happiness.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
One amazing thing I've done was that I got my skydive license and try to go every chance I get and every place I visit!
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
A valuable lesson I learned, especially after living here in NYC, and a main topic you see amongst the CS community is the value of the dollar. For me though, I realized I will always make money. I will or can always work or make money. Yes jobs more some jobs less; however, I can make money, I can't make time. So I wish to celebrate life and take joy in be aware in every moment. Especially in a city like this. It's my joy and pleasure to host various people of different cultures and background. Helps me learn and respect differences but also what unites us all.
I used to teach gymnastics, cheerleading, skydiving, and sign language. Professionally I've found myself to be a top performer and have been a trainer for all of my restaurants I've worked for. I love to learn new things and challenge and push myself. I always ask myself why? If I don't know, I tend to turn immediately to research for validity. I'm big on sharing, whether it be information, thoughts, opinions, and/or material items. I try not to let possessions own me. My motto to my friends and family is, "if I got it, you got it!" Nothing is mine and if I can go without or provide something, tangible or intangible, you can have it.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
As a host I can share everything in my apartment. If you're okay with it, most likely 9.5 times out of 10 im okay with it. Only thing I probably wouldn't share? My toothbrush ;)
