Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in sharing and helping each other, I think travelling is an experience everyone should do often. I find the human experience of travelling an important one.

Meeting someone for the first time by helping them to accomplish a dream is a great act of kindness and humanizes us! I've been helped many times I believe in paying it forward.

Interests

I loooove art in general, painting, photography, music, literature, dance, you name it!
I like old things, old buildings, old music, old people with old stories, old photos, old movies, old wine, old cities and old furniture.
I like plants, I have so many at home, I like cactus and I like plants which sometimes flower to surprise me.
I like cats (had 3 for 15 years, two died and the last -Sarcasmo- left me to live a romantic story with the cat of my neighbor.
I like Opera cake (it is my favorite) and I like Opera!
I like Frida Kahlo and Audrey Hepburn.
I like trying cocktails in beautiful bars and go dancing.
I like discovering new food!
I like astrology and tarot (currently drawing my own).
I like drawing (soooo much).
I like reading.
I like taking photos.
I like learning different languages and cultures.
I like collecting quotes from books, conversations, movies and songs.

I believe in living a simple life, full of happiness and love, I believe in kindness, I believe in children and I work a lot for and with them as they make me believe in humanity, specially in these days when the world seems nonsensical.

I like food, having a drink or two with friends and laughing together, I like making friends and meeting new people, I like creating an extraordinary life... Not only that, but I believe it is our responsibility to be happy, and that is what I try to do every day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Rome and pasted (for the first time) 24 of my illustrations on the streets of Trastevere and San Lorenzo with the help of local artists I contacted while I arrived without knowing them.

I had the time of my life, accomplished a dream of being a street artists and made friends for life! Also I was amazed about the kindness of all the strangers who helped me to do this! Amazing experience and I'm now pasting in Montreal as well and plan to keep on doing it on other cities! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you a place to stay (depending on your dates). I live in a small open studio / loft. There are no closed bedroom, but I have a mezzanine -where is my bedroom-so you will sleep in the lower area on an inflatable matress (Queen size) while I sleep upstairs. I live in an area called St Henri, 3 blocks from metro Place St Henri (orange line),

Also I can give you some good tips to go around in Montreal and help you to find anything you need, if I have time I might even go around with you :)
