I'm from sunny South Africa, currently studying Mechatronic engineering and always keen to explore. I’m super spontaneous and I like to believe that I’m very easy-going.
I would love to see as much of this beautiful world as possible while getting to know some cool people along the way. I’m always up for sharing a meal with someone new and building meaningful connections. I also love sports, particularly rock climbing, tennis and waterskiing.

Favourite music: Pretty much anything (except maybe heavy metal). If I had to choose, I’d say Afrikaans music holds a lot of sentimental value for me. I also love 70s/80s pop and rock. Music is one thing I can never get enough of. I absolutely love learning music trivia.
Movies: My Cousin Vinny - it’s a masterpiece.
Books: Don’t think I could ever pick a favourite. I most recently read Shantaram (Gregory David Roberts) and I’m currently reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.

I’ve had many experiences that amazed me. One that comes to mind is a 6-week exchange program in Oncativo, Argentina, where I met some awesome people and got to experience a world so different from my own.

I can share lots about general South African culture. I can teach you about random music trivia and how to tie a bowline. And hopefully some other things.

In theory this is a given, but I’ll clean up after myself. I’m happy to help out with some cooking if you’re willing for me to use your kitchen.
