Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I think hostels and hotels are very impersonal! I want to stay in a neighbourhood, stay in a place that feels like someone actually lives there. I love getting to know people and think I'm good at making friends with new people. I don't want to be in an airbnb that looks like it could be anywhere in the world, and would rather meet the real people of a city.
