Overview
About Me
I am an 18 year old girl form Hamburg that only recently finished school. Beginning this February, I will be off to new grounds travelling South and Central America (Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Costa Rica) till August.
The past months, I have been working in a theatre, which is what I plan to do later in life as well. But besides performance, I love every kind of art. I do dance a lot and enjoy going out for that cause.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to meet open-minded people that can show me their land, their city, their home; rather than travel isolated from the locals. And also, because my family and I have been hosting many travellers over the years and till now, it was always a great experience with them!
Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of music I like a wide range from 80's (Blondie, Cyndi Lauper...), to Soul and RnB (Selah Sue!! Lauryn Hill..) but in fact these days mainly experimental electronic stuff (Aphex Twin...)
Bookwise,
- Everything Kafka!
- Dostojewski's Idiot,
- David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel the netherlands only by bike, first big bicycle tour I did, amazing feeling to have seen a whole country only by using the power of your own legs.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really want to learn Spanish, and being a native German speaker, I could give some language training back. I have to say, at the moment, my spanish is not good to really bad. But I have some basics and plan to work on this. Maybe learn to dance Salsa?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good, in-depth quality talks and exchange; two helping hands and some German cooking...
