I like to live my life believing that every single moment and everything I do, I will, one day, tell SOMEONE about it. Therefore, I like to live my life as a story. Good or bad, every memory I make shapes who I am and I am excited to let my story grow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel as much as possible in my life, and I take every opportunity that is offered to me. Couchsurfing helps allow this passion to happen. The reason I love couch surfing is because, unlike at a hotel where my trip is nothing more than what I make of it, while staying in a local's home, I get to experience THEIR culture from THEIR point of view.

Interests

I love everything involved with travel (obviously). I love hearing people's stories and seeing how they live. Anything from trying new dishes, to hiking mountains, to walking around cities to bar hopping, I try to see the culture from unclose, though it may only be for a few days.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy music and movies. I am a Spotify fanatic and I really enjoy discovering new music, though my taste often involves indie bands.
I hate scary movies, otherwise, I will watch almost anything. I really enjoy comedies or (again) indie film, but I really enjoy the bonding that can come from sitting and watching a movie with a group of friends.
I mostly read for academic purposes, but I do really enjoy reading about philosophy and theology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Though I am deathly afraid of sharks, while I was in Ecuador, I swam with sharks through in the ocean. I was hyperventilating through my snorkel the entire time. I am still deathly afraid, but it's an experience I will never forget.
