I am from Perth, Western Australia, but have lived in China for several periods of time. I used to live in Chengdu, China, and also Beijing. If I could I would love to travel continuously and explore many countries around the world. I'm a filmmaker, and I love to tell stories in different mediums. I'm learning Chinese and hope one day to tell stories in Chinese too. 我爱中国。

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet people, and now that I have a house it would be good to host some other people. I share our house with several others however, so I can't guarantee to be able to host as it has to work out with everyone, and sometimes people have friends to stay...

I think my favourite books are The Little Prince, "Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer, "A Concise Chinese English Dictionary for Lovers" by Guo Xiaolu, "Rules of Summer" by Shaun Tan, "The Rabbits" by Shaun Tan, actually all of Shaun Tan's books, "Fox". Too many others to mention.
