About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hello people of the world!
I am an actor and working as a freelancer. That’s why I don't have thaaaat much time to spend time with my couchsurfers. But I still love to host and have a nice chat in the evening :)
My response rate is quite low currently, because I get so many couch request that I'm not able to reply to all of them. Sorry :( - this would be a full-time job...
But please don't hesitate and send me a request! There's always the chance that I read it and invite you to my place!
ABOUT ME
I could write the usual stuff: Open-minded, happy, crazy, adventurous... But how I would really describe myself?
I think of myself as an optimist who sometimes gets torn down by melancholy. I am mostly positive, but sometimes, I am not. I am ALWAYS polite and I request the same from other people. When someone makes room for me when I want to leave the tram or the underground, I am happy. When someone actually stands up so I can easily leave the tram or the underground, I am EXTRA happy. I like it when people are aware of each other, when they are considerate to each other.
I think I'm pretty sensitive. Is it daring to write that on a profile like this? Because it's usually seen as something annoying, something off-putting. And it can be from time to time. But that's not because people are truly sensitive but because they mistake being self-centered with sensitivity. If you disagree - let's discuss this :D
But I don't think that you, as a guest, would get to know me like that. Maybe if we hit it off right away and actually have some deep and meaningful conversations. These things happen on Couchsurfing and I am always delighted when they do happen. But don't worry - I don't expect that from every person that I host.
I also really like to talk a lot - I guess my friends would describe me as extroverted and bubbly... but I'm also able to sit in silence and not talk at all - it usually depends on the situation and on the people that I'm with.
PHILOSOPHY
Normal is not something to aspire. It's something to get away from. Being understood is not the most essential thing in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My former English teacher told me about it... So I thought it would be a good way to get in touch with people from all over the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Up until now, I have met many cool people. Some of them became good friends of mine.
Interests
I really like arts in every way. I love painting, writing, creative music (not the mainstream stuff on the radio), good books. But especially I love acting.
And I love cooking!
And I'm a scout...
I like languages and countries (especially Britain and Ireland but in the end, I'm curious about every nation.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the moment I can only think of that funny moment at the airport where I used to work, when I had this Edith Piaf song La Vie En Rose stuck in my head and I was humming it all day long. Suddenly a woman from Montrèal started singing along with me. My boss, one colleague and another traveller saw us and then there were five people standing at a cash desk in a Duty Free Shop, singing La Vie En Rose.
Somehow, this was magical.
And of course the beautiful and rough landscapes at the Ring of Kerry in Ireland!
Aaaand the sunset by a huge lake in Finland. Just beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well... I think that it's very interesting to get to know other people's character even if it's totally different from my own. You can always learn something when you talk to someone that has a different point of view.
Oh and if you aren't able to cook, I would be very pleased to show you at least the basics :)
Oh by the way: I finally learned how to spell "definitely" without looking it up in a dictionary every time I'm writing it down.
Great achievement, isn't it??
