to find great community within my city, and anywhere I decide to travel in the near future

ABOUT ME

So a lot has changed in my little life, and I am across the ocean in the midst of the Middle east (Beirut, Lebanon), which is FAR from my hometown of Toronto.
I have always tried to live my life honestly, with humble morals and values(treat others as you would want to be treated, give when you are able to, speak the truth and live honestly, etc), and truly lead by my heart.
Because I have changed so much in the past year, I am now truly on my own and looking to find the next best place for me. As much as I have tried to go for the typical safe life of working a 9-5 job, and living a set routine oriented lifestyle, I found more and more it just does not suit me anymore. So here is to finding myself, and learning to adjust.

PHILOSOPHY

Well my beliefs haven't changed much, and they will most likely remain the same:
Live your life according to your own heart, your own soul, with the people you feel most drawn to, and live it with passion and honesty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I still have yet to couch-surf, but hopefully I will find the right people to begin this new experience with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To me this was the most amazing thing when I was a kid: one night my sister and I were supposed to be in bed, but we couldn't sleep just yet, and were playing around in our rooms when casually one of us looked out the window and saw some incredibly strange lights flying around in the clouds. We both instantly ran to the window and oo-ed and awe-ed at the strange phenomena wondering: what are those lights? where are they coming from? I wonder if they're angels! They must be angels!
Unfortunately the moment of pure awesomeness was broken when our father came in and frustratedly asked us why we weren't in bed yet? and what were we doing standing by the window? and no those are not angels, those are just the search lights for the airports... now get to bed!
I still love seeing those search lights on a cloudy night, they still remind me of that dreamy moment as a child.

I moved to Beirut Lebanon, to be with the love of my life, and have been opened to life through the eyes of this tender war-torn country. As hard as an experience as it has been, I have learned many new things, and am open to more of life even more so.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a great listener, and have a great patient demeanor when someone else needs a friend to talk to.
I am also an empathic healer, and am very sensitive to other peoples feelings/well being, even when they are not verbally spoken. I do have the ability to coach to some degree, I would love to be able to help someone or help them to remember their inner voice.
