About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to leave my footprints, without regret

ABOUT ME

"Life isn't measured in the breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away"
I am a californian and I've just returned from experiencing "la vie française" for a year. I study anthropology at UCLA and am captivated by new cultures and learning through travel. Visiting so many new places in Europe was an amazing experience that I will never, ever forget . I'm easy going, adventurous, curious and warmhearted. Although I carry a slice of San Francisco and the Bay Area with me everywhere, I live for the unexplored and crave to see sights and roam in new places! I'm so excited for my upcoming adventures and for all the new people I am bound to meet along the way :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in positivity, determination, and the ability to laugh at yourself: "Listen to your voice, the one that tells you to taste past the tip of your tongue. Leap and the net will appear" -Jason Mraz

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been so lucky to meet some fantastic and interesting hosts throughout my 9 month in Europe and I am so looking forward to hosting when I get back to Los Angeles for school in the fall! I've met most of my couch surfing friends through traveling, but so I can't wait to get settled into my apartment next year in LA and show some people around my own town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to Couch Surfing but have already experienced some amazing hospitality and shared good times with some really kind people. So far, I've couch surfed in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and France and I look forward to meeting new couchsurfers in the months to come! One of my favorite things about CS is that diversity of life histories and shared experiences represented by so many different people. I want to share my story with you!

Interests

I love friends, family, and good food. I guess its the simple things that make me happy, but I am also a determined and competitive, which is probably why I enjoy athletics so much! I played basketball for my school team in France and it was pretty interesting trying to understand all the things my coach told me in another language :) Now I'm back in Cali and playing with my boyfriend this summer! (It seems that I just can't get enough ballin' into my life) I also love anything in nature, if you want someone to go on a hike with or just enjoy the outdoors, you've found the right person! I like to think of myself as a pretty open person who is curious and eager to learn about and try new things ... it seems like I find new interests all the time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences of my life happened a few months ago when I was home in San Francisco for my spring break! For my birthday, I was surprised by getting to fly in a plane all over the entire bay area. Seeing the Golden Gate Bridge from this new perspective was absolutely gorgeous - words do no justice to how beautiful it was.
