I'm a student studying International Relations, specifically focusing on the Middle East. I'm married to a wonderful man, who is a pre-med student. We both love learning as much as we can about other places, languages, and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always had a strong case of wanderlust, but haven't been able to travel as much as I'd like since money is tight while we're both students. I'm hoping I can see more new places and meet more cool people through couchsurfing, and not have to wait to travel until I'm working full time again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and movies are hard to pin down, because I'm always going through one phase or another. This means the list should be long, but isn't, because I'm terrible at remembering band names.

Books: I like a lot of things, but am always a sucker for post-apocalyptic dystopian young adult fiction (think Hunger Games, Ender's Game, Matched, the Giver, etc).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got my first degree black belt in TaeKwonDo at the age of 11, allowing me to start instructing by age 12.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm knowledgeable in many trades, master of none. I'm happy to share or teach anything I know though. I've also been told I'm a great story teller.
