About Me
On my sabbatical year off from my career in banking, in fact, I'm not even sure I want to go back to work next February (2016). Still trying to determine what I want out of life, but in the meantime, just happy to explore the world, eat good food, try new things, catching up with friends, meeting and connecting with new ones...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people, to open my mind and perhaps the experiences will enrich my life. As I'm only surfing for the time, the thought of having instant friends in different cities is pretty cool and also it's the thrill of getting to know a city and see it based on the perspective of a local host.
A lot of it, I would hope to be the exchange of experiences and the opportunity to connect. I believe it should be about learning, sharing, and connecting with people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: R&B, Top40, lately I seem to enjoy Classical music
Movies: love comedy and action, don't mind dramas especially the Oscar nominated, enjoy art-house every now and then. And of course, I'm a fan of GoT...
Books: Non-Fiction, Self-Help and Spiritual books i.e. Alan Watts, Paulo Coelho, Stephen R Covey, Gary Zukav, Don Miguel Ruiz
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done so many things, but my favourite would be volunteering in Sri Lanka. Seen some of the most amazing landscape, experienced an incredible culture, and got the chance to meet some incredible people and at the same time being able to give back to the community.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn: will be spending 3 months in Montpellier, to learn French.
A while back I was taking drumming lessons, but had to stop due to work commitments, would love to get back into it again.
What I Can Share with Hosts
To be honest, I don't know, I would offer to make dinner, however I can't cook!!! Oh dear, I think I'm in trouble. I can offer a nice bottle red perhaps? hahaha
I could share my experiences and knowledge of all the places I've been and things I've done....
...and I'm good with numbers and Microsoft Excel. Can help you with your spreadsheets and graphs, maybe???
