Travel and explore Europe until I run out of money, and hopefully then find a nice country to settle down in for a while.

ABOUT ME

I think everything is pretty much covered in the many other sections of this website. And since I'm British and reserved, I'm not very good at describing myself. If we meet one day I can tell you more over a beer.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a sort of universal karma - what goes around, come around. If you are good and kind to others, then somehow the universe will make sure that good things happen to you. It's been kind to me so far as I've had many great experiences and met so many amazing people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosting people in my home city of Leeds for a number of years. I also tried to be as active as possible in the local CS community by organising events, running the weekly meetings for a while and using my knowledge of the area to help other surfers. Now that I've left the UK and started to travel, I hope to use CS to meet interesting people in the cities that I'm visiting and possibly find hosts to help with accommodation costs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through the Leeds CS group I've been lucky enough to meet a countless number of wonderful and unique people with whom I've shared some amazing experiences with. The meetings, events and parties have been wonderful but I've also been able to try things that I would never have considered before.

Interests

I have many interests which seem to change regularly. I love to travel and meet new people (of course), cook and eat international food, drink nice whiskey and beer, discover new cities, play with dogs, go to concerts and festivals, dance all night, relax on the beach, play a few sports and try pretty much anything that I haven't done before.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my greatest passion! My taste has changed a lot over time but right now I'm listening to a lot of electronic music. You can find out more here: http://www.last.fm/user/kaiser_zt

I also love to watch movies, particularly foreign ones - I find it's a great way to find out more about a country. I particularly enjoy dramas such as Intouchables and black comedies such as Relatos Salvajes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I fell in the canal in Venice once on a very hot day.. but it was more humiliating than amazing.
