About Me

ABOUT ME

After I graduated three years ago I took a year of too see the world behind my little hometown. So I ended up in beautiful Alberta where I snuggled with deer, skunks, gooses and a 20 year old cat and fell in love with Canada and the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
Then I traveled with my lovely friends down the West Coast of USA, met lovely people, drunk good coffe and dippped my foot in the could pacific.
While we traveld through USA we did everything via my friend's account and so she earned all the good references : https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/larissaschlicher/
Back in Germany I started to study and had the great opportunity to spend a half year in Denmark where I just came home.
Now I'm back again in Germany and waiting for my new big adventure ;)

PHILOSOPHY

„Not all those who wander are lost.“

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived a half year in Canada and there I went every month to the Couchsurfing-Meetup in Calagry. I met lovely people there and it was always fun. After this half year I traveld down the west coast of Amercia with 3 really good friends. We did all the way down to San Diego couchsurfing and had a unfogettable time. All our host were amazing and super lovely. So they became a big part in this time and made our travel experiences even more unforgettable.
Unfortunately I never hosted people because nobody wants to travel around in my super small University town :D But I know, someday I will have my own surfers and then I can't wait to give these unique and special experiences back ;)

Interests

I'm always interested to try new stuff, learn new things, and listen to nice storys from others ;) I think that is the best way to develop and figure out what I want from life.
I'm fascinated by nature and plants. By different culutres, people and unique food. Right now I'm trying the vegan lifestyle, not because it is super hip right now. I'm doing it for me, to feel better, for the enviroment and the animals. I like the idea to live a lifestlye which is not harmful for any creature and appreciate what the earth is giving us.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to tell some special musicians because I'm always searching for new music and artists but in general I can say that I love to listen to alternative, acoustic and chilled electro during the day and for going out I prefere nice techno.
I like so many different movies and books but I think my favorite one's are about biographies and dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving through Canada in an old red truck with my best friend like two real Canadians.
Seeing wild bears in the Rockys in Canada.
Seeing a wild moose.
Flying a little plane over the coast of California.
Surfing in the pacific.
Hiking in the beautiful Rockys.
Bottelfeeding a baby deer and baby skunks.
Living together in a flat with an 20 years old cat named Grimm.
Fired up a self made chinese lantern (which actually flew super high!) while watching a firework over Aaarhus from the other seaside.
