Overview
About Me
I am a cheerful and outgoing person willing to meet new people and places. I am passionate about History, especially Soviet and Russian, and I am also a big supporter of feminism. I like fighting for what I believe in because I think it is the only way to live and try to make this world a bit easier and cosier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing because I am eager to travel and meet new people while doing it. I have decided to start travelling on my own since it is an experience I have never tried before and I feel attracted by the mix of feelings and adventures I might have to face on the way. And, above all, I want to be able to remember the places I have been to through the people that made my stay worthwhile and special.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love many kinds of music, but I am specially into ska, reggae and rock music.
I love reading, especially history books and novels and books on sociology and feminism and Russian and the Balkans history and culture.
One of my favourite films is Trainspotting because I am also in love with Scotland - I have lived there for over a year and the film reminds me of my great days in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am English teacher, so I am always willing to practise it with whoever wants to, not to mention Spanish and Catalan. One of my strengths is that I love learning things all the time and I am an amazing listener, especially if I am taught about history and personal stories from the places I am most interested in - the Balkans, Eastern Europe and Russia, And if all this is accompanied by a beer or some good wine, it makes a perfect evening. I love dancing as well, and I am currently attending salsa and bachata lessons, so I would be in for any plan related to dancing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my humble knowledge about languages and history and also my cheerfulness and willingness to make friends wherever I go.
