ABOUT ME
I've been living in South Carolina for the past few years, working hard..saving money, for a recently discovered habit!...TRAVELING!!!! next plan.. Ireland, Spain, and France!!
PHILOSOPHY
You have to be passionate about what you do. Passion makes you happy, no matter what it is that interests you. Do what you like...and love doing it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I once stayed with a Couchsurfer in London...his name was Maurits!! What a great experience. It's really incredible how people can sometimes be so generous. his apt was right in downtown London, and he was really great about letting my friend and I come and go as we pleased. We ended up staying there for a week!
Interests
I love to travel, obviously....otherwise I wouldn't be here! But I aslo like to spend a lot of time outdoors. I really like to go hiking, kayaking, snowboarding (but I'm not very good at it!), and just recently...playing the guitar!...and!!!! the banjo :)

Music, Movies, and Books
the best book in the world, hands down, is "The Little Prince" by Antoine De Saint Exupery. It's amazing how a children's author can have such a deep grasp on the philosophies of life. ... I also like Dante's Inferno.
As for movies... Into the Wild, Meet Joe Black, and Beautiful Girls. As well as anything Stanley Kubrick
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of many amazing experiences would have to be camping with an incredible friend just a few meters shy of a Glacier at the top of the Geringer Fjord in Norway. We set up our tent on top of the biggest blueberry field imaginable with waterfalls coming down on both sides of us. It was really beautiful!..cold, but BEAUTIFUL!
Teach, Learn, Share
Okay, so let's just say that a majority of Couchsurfers aren't necessarily the most wealthy people, but we do know how to have a good time. A major thing that I've learned in being a part of this project... is how to trust. And I'm not just talking about staying with people you don't know... but also about getting from place to place. Hitch hiking is something that a TON of people are "afraid" of doing. In some places, where it's apropriate, give it a try. You'd be amazed at how far you can get on the kindness of strangers. It's cheap, and aside from the initial weirdness of it all... you can meet an amazing world full of people.
