My name is Carolina, but people call me Cari for short. I am a twenty two year old student athlete, studying in South Carolina. I expect to graduate in May 2016 and afterwards continue on to Graduate school. I am really intersted in international cultures and I am hoping to study something along those lines. I am hoping to join the Peace Corps as well.
But before grad school and the Peace Corps, my best friend and I will be taking time off to travel as much as we can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My parents have been couch surfers for many years. Although my profile is new, I have couch surfed and hosted numerous times in the past through my mother's profile. I have loved meeting people all over the world this way and I hope to continue doing so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2015 I traveled to Kenya for six weeks through a volunteering organization and lived with a host family while I was there. My duty was to teach young students everyday and interact with the people in the village. It was the first time I had traveled alone.
