ABOUT ME

I just moved to Berlin from New York City and am so excited to be here. I'm interested in meeting new people and sharing experiences, delicious food, cute cafes and bars and talking for hours over wine. I'm an active runner and yoga doer. I like to get out and ride around the city on my bike, seeing new neighborhoods. I'm outgoing and love sharing experiences with new people!

PHILOSOPHY

Open minded, I try to live by the "Yes Man" philosophy and say yes to (almost) every opportunity I'm presented with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been an active couch surfing participant, but now that I'm in Europe I plan to use it much more. I'm currently looking for couches to stay on, but once I have my own place I'd like to host as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience is very limited, I only surfed once in Austin, TX a few years about, but it's time to change that :) While I was there I was travelling with two friends and we stayed with some awesome and very welcoming people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a range of music: indie, hiphop, jazz etc. Currently I've been listening to M83, SBTRKT, Passion Pit amongst others!

Books/Magazines: I read The New Yorker religiously and dabble in other books whenever I'm inspired. My favorites include, Middlesex by Jeffery Eugenides and In Cold Blood - Truman Capote.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biking 100 miles through the cornfields of the Midwestern USA, hiking the last 40 miles of the Appalachian trail, Travelling to Cadaquez, Espana for the best meal of my life.

I'm really good at making things with string: knitting, quilting, sewing, embroidery etc etc.
