ABOUT ME

I am a 29 year old Canadian. I am easy going, funny and I get along well with others. I love to travel and meet new people in hopes of making wonderful memories.
I am always looking for new experiences and ways to learn about different cultures. I just spent the past two years teaching in South Korea and I have been very fortunate to travel to many different countries. I cannot wait for this adventure to begin!

For this adventure, I will be traveling with Missy Ackley and we are looking to stay together during our travels. We met in South Korea (2012) and we have many of the same interests.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a new-comer to couch surfing but I am excited for it to allow me to be apart of a closer knit community than staying in guesthouses during my travels. Currently, I am traveling so I can not accommodate anyone in my hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never been couchsurfing before but I figure it is a great way to meet people and hopefully gain an authentic and local experience of the cities I will be visiting. I am very excited to join the couchsurfing community!

Interessen

I love to be active. Rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, scuba diving etc. There are definitely sports that I haven't tried and would welcome the opportunity to try them.
I love live music of all styles, photography, learning new languages, eating new foods, and trying anything once.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Trekking for 10 days in Nepal,a Home stay in Nepal,a solo South-east Asia trip for 6 months. Scuba certification in Thailand. Staying in a hide in Malaysia. There are many other memories that I hope to share while surfing. .

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I love meeting people who have had different travel experiences in the hopes that they can motivate me to follow in a similar direction. I also like meeting people who have different views on life and could shed light on a perspective that I have never thought of before.
