About Me
Hi!!
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read a little bit about me :)
I'm a curious person by nature, I love learning about other cultures, being exposed to what is different and foreign to me and meeting people that can help me understand this crazy world little by little.
Being this curious person, I am always looking for new things to learn, new flavors and experiences. When traveling, you'll often find me wandering around museums, historical sites, public markets, learning about the city's history, its people and discovering tastes I have never tasted!
I am motivated by talking to people, getting to know their story, values, and dreams. We are all so different, yet we can find so much in common if we take the time to listen with an open mind and a kind heart. I'm also a firm believer in the power of community, social justice, equality and diversity!
While I have only one Couchsurfing experience and still no reviews, you can check out the reviews I got from my Airbnb's hosts here :) https://www.airbnb.com.br/users/show/42588278
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My partner and I first joined Couchsurfing a few years ago when we were still in Brazil as we wanted to host, meet interesting people and help them have a great experience in our hometown, Recife.
A lot has changed since then and we have became true nomads with no house to go back to! I spent the last 2 years working remotely, trying to follow Lara's band as they tour (they're super cool, look them up! --> LADAMA). Being a remote worker was great but spending that much time sitting in front of a computer by myself did leave me longing for connecting with people and nature. So I have decided to take a leap of faith, stop working and go on a backpacking trip around Asia, until the end of this year \o/
I don't have super strict plans, just an ideia of places I would like to go. Most important of all, on this trip I want to learn as much as possible wherever I go, to have meaningful conversations, to make friends that will help me be a better person!
