My name is Carina, I’m 21 and from Austria. I’m a Biochem student with a love for the outdoors. Whether it’s climbing, skiing, or hiking, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by nature. I’m also a big fan of sightseeing and enjoy exploring new cities, learning about history, and discovering hidden gems.

I’m an open-minded and curious person who enjoys meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and sharing experiences. My friends tell me I’m pretty funny (though I guess you’ll have to decide that for yourself). I’m always up for a good conversation, an adventure, or just a relaxing evening. Looking forward to connecting with like-minded travelers and hosts!

I‘ve been lucky enough to see quite a bit of the world already, and I absolutely love traveling. It’s such a great way to grow personally, learn and connect with amazing people.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love the idea of connecting with people from around the world in a more personal and authentic way. Staying with locals gives me a chance to experience a place from a unique perspective, learn about different cultures, and make meaningful connections along the way.

For me it’s about sharing stories, laughter, and experiences with amazing people. I believe travel is more memorable when it’s about the people you meet!

I love all genres of music. My top three artists at the moment are Travis Scott, Ludovico Einaudi and Guns N’Roses.

There are a ton of movies that I enjoy watching, I love Oppenheimer, Forrest Gump. A must see from my point of view is Schindler’s List.

I recently started reading, so I‘m still trying out different genres and I’d be more than happy to get some recommendations. I really liked Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

I volunteered at a hostel in Indonesia and it was one of the greatest experiences. Meeting soo many people from all over the world with different views of life was something I’ll never forget.
