Hello there:) I am 22 and originally from Germany but since 3 years studying in the Netherlands. I travelled a lot when I was small and this passion became even more addictive since I became older. This is one of the reasons why I decided to study Tourism Management which I enjoy a lot.

For me personally meeting new people and their cultures is definitively one of the best if not THE BEST part about travelling. Sharing stories, creating new memories and receiving advices of locals not only brings me out of my comfort zone but also broadens up and changes my understanding and feeling for the world. These are actually the moments which I remember the most when I return home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard many good stories from friends who already did couchsurfing in other countries. Recently a friend of mine had someone over who joined us for breakfast and it was such a nice experience, that it motivated me to create this profil and to become active as well.

Since I am quiet new on couchsurfing, no one has sleepen yet on my couch in the Netherlands, neither did I have the chance to do couchsurfing in another country. But I am very curious and hope that I soon receive the chance to either be the host or guest.
