Hi there! My name is Carina and I come from the sunny beachside city of Tauranga, New Zealand. I love to travel and want to explore the world in all its glory. I am currently at Waikato University doing a Bachelor in Primary Teaching and have also completed a certificate in Performing Arts, majoring in Music. I love singing and was lucky enough to be a part of a performing arts tour group called "Excel" where we toured New Zealand for 6 months. I am friendly, love to show off my country, and love meeting new people from all around the world. I currently live at home to save money for my studies and my travels. I am heading to Europe in 2017 for two months and am basing myself in Aarhus, Denmark where I will be working in a school for one of the months.

I'm on couchsurfing because I would love to meet the locals and have a localised experience of the country that I visit. I'm in Europe in 2017 and am generally a curious traveller, going to unknown spots and exploring different ways of life, so would love to stay with people who are able to help me discover these hidden gems.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performed over 200 shows in 6 months all around New Zealand with a performing arts group called "Excel School of Performing Arts". Getting to see the entire country was amazing! I am so blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
