Overview
About Me
*For personal reasons, I won't be able to host until February 2020, sorry!*
Important: Our house and fridge are 100% vegan. If that's not a problem for you, feel free to keep reading and send a request. ;)
CURRENT MISSION
Being an outstanding language instructor and enjoying life at the same time. Also, becoming an expert at knowing the perfect time to open avocados.
ABOUT ME
I like laughing and I often can't stop. People are worried that I will die of laughter one day (which is by far the best death I can imagine).
PHILOSOPHY
"You can't protect yourself from sadness without protecting yourself from happiness." (J.S. Foer)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm on Couchsurfing because of the positive energy that it gives you. It makes you restore your faith in humanity and makes you believe that the world is full of good-hearted, open-minded and fun people. :)
I started to do couchsurfing in the US in 2012. I immediately fell in love with it when my first host in Savannah took me to his friend's birthday party as soon as I arrived. The friend had rented a bounce house and put it in her garden. We had a blast! :)
However, I have moved a lot in the last years and often only rented one room for a short period of time, so it was difficult to host people. I hope that I will now meet and host more people. :)
Interests
I love traveling and getting to know people from various countries with different backgrounds. Also, I like learning languages. I have recently started to dance salsa, bachata, zouk and kizomba, and I love it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Bachata! :) But I'm also totally into campfire guitar music, and I love to read. My favorite books are Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (J. S. Foer), The Penelopiad (Margaret Atwood), The City of Dreaming Books (W. Moers), South of the Border, West of the Sun (Haruki Murakami) and the Harry Potter series. Favorite movies: The Lion King, Lives of Others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
National Parks in the US, such as Glacier, Zion and the Grand Canyon, are the most beautiful places I've seen so far. Hiking up Volcán Barú in Panamá at midnight (arrived there for the sunrise, and hiked back during the day) is unforgettable. Ice trekking on Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina was awesome, too! I'm a big nature lover. :)
