Overview
About Me
I left school to find myself somewhere in the midst of Uganda - did one year of volunteer work there - came back to Germany to study psychology and meanwhile organize a great conference for others who did volunteer work abroad and ask themself how to continue changing society back home. ;) To find out which direction I'm actually heading in this life I took the last few months off - heading to Ireland, wwoofing, staying in an Ecovillage, visiting Findhorn... Some months back in Germany I still find myself hopping from place to place and am fantasizing about growing some roots in a new place soon.
I'm easy to be with, sometimes quite, deeply interested in people's stories and like philosophical talks about the world of today and tomorrow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to get to know many great people during the time I travel, on my own I get bored soon. Plus: you can only get to know a country when you get to know the people living in it.
Interests
books - reading and maybe one day writing one of my own
history - always wondering who the people where behind the dates and names and why they would do the things they did
movies - I do like the ones that are uplifting!
dancing - fancy some Tango or Lindy Hop? I'm always eager to practice and improve the little skills I have
cooking and baking my own bread out of sourdough - first doing it for one year by trial and error - now I'm backed up with skills I learned in one of the few organic sourdough bakeries in Ireland
How can I live sustainable? That's a question which is haunting me for quite some time, the final answer no where in sight. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking through France to get to Ireland without words other then bonjour, merci and aurevoir and a friend who sounds as if he's french himself
Meditating in Dzogchen Beara with a view of the Ocean right through the window..
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to make Bavarian Spaetzle (the Spaetzlemaker is traveling with me) and bake sourdough-bread. And I can give you a Shiatsu-Massage :)
