Born and raised in Florida. I have lived all over Florida and I am ready to see what this world has to offer me. I have been working at a spa over these past few years, I do love my job but I need change. I don't want to miss out on the beauty of the world. I am very easy going and a hippie at heart. I love to laugh and enjoy the little things. I travel whenever I get the opportunity to. I've gone to big cities but my heart has always been the fullest when I'm out on the water or deep in the mountains. I'm hoping this will be the door that leads me to where I want to be!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I appreciate the world and what is out there that I have yet to see. I want to learn from other cultures and see what the other side is like. I want to see things that will take my breath away. I want to escape from technology and the rush of everyday life. I've been fortunate enough to travel, but not the way I want to. I have only done trips for a few days and then gone home. I'm looking to have stays that can either last a week or more. It depends. But I want to go somewhere and really take it in. I want to experience it.

Interests

There is not a day that goes by I don't paddle board or kayak. I really enjoy traveling to all of Florida's natural springs (especially when it's cold because that's when the manatees migrate there). I try to do everything that comes to mind. I have been skydiving in Miami over the water. I also love going to Ft Lauderdale and going sea bobbing. If there's ever a reason to road trip, you can count me in. I've done road trips to the Grand Canyon and to New Orleans. I love seeing things and not flying over them in an airplane.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being that I live in central Florida I have been able to travel and do awesome things in the water. I recently went to the keys to go lobstering like I do every year, but this time I went shark diving! We went a few miles off shore and got into a cage in the water. We were able to see mako, hammerhead and bull sharks! Let's just say..I would love to do it again!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to show someone who I am and where I come from. How to channel their inner hippie :) I believe the world is what we put into it, why not make it positive. I love connecting with others whether we are having a few pitchers or having an adventure hiking or on the water. I'm a prime example that no matter what hard things life throws at you, you only get stronger. You must always smile.
