I've been living and working in London for 12 years, but was feeling a bit stuck so decided it was time to shake up my life and live abroad for a bit! So I left my Camden houseshare and have come to sunny LA for three months. I'm here till the middle of December.

Back home I've been working in TV doing marketing and events but I've recently been training to be a voice over artist as my ultimate dream would be the voice of an animated character.

I've been in LA less than a week, but have already signed up for a few voice/acting classes which I'm really excited about. And have loved hanging out by the beach, going surfing (badly) hiring bikes and watching the amazing sunsets.

I love travelling, exploring new places and trying new things. And I'm looking forward to meeting new people to share my LA adventures with!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never couch surfed before, but this looks like a brilliant way to meet new people, discover a new area and save some money.

I love how friendly and genuine everyones profiles are.

I don't have a place of my own to host any couch surfers myself, but if I get my own place in the future I'd love to return the favour and host people in London.

I love a whole mix of music including indie, dance and pop. Favourites include The Killers, Muse, Fleetwood Mac, Britney, Taylor Swift, Swedish House Mafia.

Favourite films include Clueless, The Devil Wears Prada, E.T. Super 8, Somewhere Silver Linings Playbook, Happy Feet, Madagascar 3.

My favourite author is Roald Dahl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its so hard to pick one as I have loads of amazing memories but last year I went to Rabbit Island in Japan. Its not actually called Rabbit Island but is known as that as the whole island is over run with wild friendly rabbits. I brought loads of food with me and these amazing cute bunnies ran up to me and climbed all over me to eat the food. I was in rabbit heaven!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you're planning to visit London soon I can give you loads of good tips and advice. I've also travelled to lots of countries (listed below) so would love to share my travelling stories and give you ideas of things to do and places to visit.

I've been vegetarian since I was 13 and have recently become vegan. I love cooking, especially spicy food like curries and I make a mean guacamole - so would love to cook for my hosts.

If you have kids, I'm great at reading stories and make it more fun by doing different voices!
